What’s your role at Town & Country Meats and what does a typical day look like?
My role is primarily focused on sales, looking after my customers’ needs and managing their accounts from end to end. I work closely with customers to understand their requirements and make sure they receive the right products and support.
How did you get into the meat industry and what do you enjoy most about your role?
I joined the meat industry straight from school in 1989 as a 16-year-old trainee with the UK’s largest wholesaler.
What I enjoy most about my role is the day-to-day interaction with customers, many of whom I’ve been working with for over 20 years. Building and maintaining those long-standing relationships is one of the things I enjoy most about the job.
What’s your favourite part of working as part of the Town & Country team?
The buzz of the sales office.
